I like the last picture very much! Is it a part of a wall painting? The picture in the middle of it is the best - the "antropophagoi" from the Carribean Islands and these West European - two BIG officers, one small soldier with a musket and the smallest worker. Very interesting - a way of showing social distinctions! From what time is this painting? You wrote about 19th - 20th century painters, but the costumes on this pictures are from 17th century, I think - is this only stilisation?
