Hortensias. Ορτανσίες.

This is their season. And the two small plants I have in the pots are in full bloom.

Τώρα είναι η εποχή τους. Και τα δυο φυτά που έχω στην γλάστρα είναι μια χαρά.

My Hydrangea. Η Ορτανσία μου.

I have this small hydrangea plant in a pot. There were no flowers this period and had it trimmed after they dried up. Then, suddenly I noticed .. different shapes of leaves coming out from a small branch.

Έχω αυτήν την μικρή ορτανσία στην γλάστρα. Την έκοψα λίγο όταν μαράθηκαν τα λουλούδια της. Ξαφνικά, άρχισαν να εμφανίζονται φύλλα με διαφορετικό σχήμα.

And... not just the leaves... There were some tiny flowers also...
Όχι μόνο διαφορετικά φυλλά.. μα και μικρά ανθάκια...

And then... I found out what was happening.. when I saw this pepper growing on my Hydrangea.
Και τότε ανακάλυψα τι γινότανε. Όταν άρχισε η ορτανσία να βγάζει πιπεριές.

Can you imagine..?
Το φαντάζεστε..;

A pepper plant was growing, stuck on the root of the Hydrangea.
Μια πιπεριά μεγάλωνε πάνω στην ρίζα της Ορτανσίας.
