There are many natural springs in the woods above the village of Aghios Lavrentios on Mt Pelion, forming small waterfalls and streams. This precious, crystal clear water is collected for irrigation of the fruit groves and gardens.

Το δάσος πάνω από τον Άγιο Λαυρέντιο του Πηλίου είναι γεμάτο πηγές που σχηματίζουν μικρούς καταρράκτες κει ρέμματα. Αυτά τα κρυστάλινα καθαρά νερα μαζεύονται και χρησιμοποιούνται για τό πότισμα των περιβολιών με τα φρούτα.

This small waterfall at Syntagma Square in Athens center. When one uses high shutter speed settings like 1/4000 sec, one can catch the water like sculpures, details one cannot see with the eye.

There is that beautiful village on the mountains of Western Crete. Argyroupolis. There are springs, streams, small waterfalls and tanks with fresh fish everywhere. There are also many tavernas where the visitors can enjoy local dishes and lamb made the traditional way, over the open fire.

Αργυρούπολη. Ένα όμορφο χωριό στα βουνά της δυτικής Κρήτης. Υπάρχουν εκεί πηγές με πεντακάθαρα νερά, ρυακια, καταρράκτες και δεξαμενές με ψάρια. Και φυσικά ταβέρνες όπου οι επισκέπτες μπορούν να απολαύσουν τοπικά πιάτα και "οφτό". Το αρνί ψημένο με τον παραδοσιακό τρόπο.

Kythera is not a large island. And like most islands of Greece, there is not much fresh water. But there is this spring near the village Mylopotamos, where there is water coming out and forms this beautiful small waterfall and the pool under is and many more pools downstream. It is a beautiful and valuable source of life for the island. Can you imagine all fairies and water nymphs bathing in this pool and dancing and singing around it and taking men' s minds off their heads?

Τα Κύθηρα, όπως τα περισσότερα ελληνικά νησιά, δεν έχουν πολλά νερά. Αλλά δίπλα στο όμορφο χωριό Μυλοπόταμος, υπάρχει αυτή η πηγή, που σχηματίζει έναν μικρό καραράκτη, και την λιμνούλα που βέπετε κάτω απ' αυτόν. Επίσης πιό κάτω στο ποταμάκι, σχηματίζονται υπέροχες όμορφες λιμνούλες με τα νερά του. Φανταστείτε τις νεράιδες και τις νύμφες να λούζονται στις λιμνούλες και να χορεύουν γύρω απ' αυτές και να ξελογιάζουν τους άνδρες.
