Ohhhhh boats... Where are you going? ... Καράβια που πάτε;

..It is hard.. to get up in the morning, and see images like this..
A beautiful morning.. the seas and the skies deep blue and the boats coming and going..
And a longing fills you.. to be in one of those boats .. and sail.. far away....
....and the song at the end of this post... is about that longing ... asking the boats not to forget you.. not to leave you behind...

Δεν ξέρω αν είναι όμορφο ή άσχημο το συναίσθημα, να ξυπνάς το πρωί, να βλέπεις αυτές τις εικόνες..
.. Μια πανέμορφη μέρα.. με το βαθύ μπλέ του ουρανού και της θάλασσας... και τα καράβια στον Σαρωνικό να πηγαινοέρχονται...
και σύ να θέλεις να βρίσκεσαι μέσα σ' ένα απο αυτά .. να σε πάρει μαζί του μακριά.. να τα ξεχάσεις όλα.....
Κι ο Κώστας Χατζής.. στο τραγούδι του στο τέλος της ανάρτησης... αυτό κάνει...
..τα παρακαλεί να τον πάρουν μαζί τους...
Χαρείτε τον και νοσταλγήστε μαζί του....

Leisure boats... Σκάφη αναψυχής..

..... όπως τα είδα καθώς έκανα βόλτα στην παραλία της Γλυφάδας.

A beautiful Sunday. Μια όμορφη Κυριακή.

It was a beautiful and warm Sunday the last one, for late November. And it was nice to walk along the waterfront in Varkiza, near Athens. So thought many other people.

Ήταν ζεστή και όμορφη η περασμένη Κυριακή για τέλος του Νοέμβρη. Και η βόλτα στην παραλία της Βάρκιζας ήταν ότι έπρεπε.

The boats at around sunset time. Οι βάρκες γύρω στο ηλιοβασίλεμα.

With the sun low or under the horizon, and using a little underexposure with the camera settings, the effect, while taking photographs of the boats is kind of dramatic. I think.

Με τον ήλιο λίγο πιο πάνω ή λιγο πιο κάτω από τον ορίζοντα και τις ρυθμίσεις της μηχανής με λίγη υπο-έκθεση, το αποτέλεσμα είναι λίγο δραματικό. Νομίζω.

Dreams dying. Όνειρα που πεθαίνουν.

Dreams decaying and dying in the shallow waters of the lagoon. The lagoon of Koronisia near the town of Arta in northwestern Greece.

Όνειρα που σαπίζουν και πεθαίνουν στα ρηχά νερα της λιμνοθάλασσας. Της λιμνοθάλασσας της Κορωνησίας κοντά στην  Άρτα.

Boats coming and going from the port of Chios. Καράβια πάνε κι έρχονται στο λιμάνι της Χίου.

I like to watch and photograph the boats as they keep coming and going, carrying people and goods to and from other places.
Μ' αρέσει να βλέπω και να φωτογραφίζω τα πλεούμενα όπως πηγαινοέρχονται κουβαλώντας ανθρώπους και αγαθά.
