An afternoon walk.. Μια απογευματινή βόλτα.

It was not very cold this afternoon.. almost bright sunshine and i decided to take a walk.. on the southern hills of Imittos . I was also rewarded with a beautiful sunset..!

Ο καιρός ήταν ευχάριστος σήμερα και είπα να κάνω μια βόλτα στον Υμηττό κοντά στην Γλυφάδα. Και ανταμείφθηκα μ' ένα ακόμη όμορφο ηλιοβασίλεμα..

Ohhhhh boats... Where are you going? ... Καράβια που πάτε;

..It is hard.. to get up in the morning, and see images like this..
A beautiful morning.. the seas and the skies deep blue and the boats coming and going..
And a longing fills you.. to be in one of those boats .. and sail.. far away....
....and the song at the end of this post... is about that longing ... asking the boats not to forget you.. not to leave you behind...

Δεν ξέρω αν είναι όμορφο ή άσχημο το συναίσθημα, να ξυπνάς το πρωί, να βλέπεις αυτές τις εικόνες..
.. Μια πανέμορφη μέρα.. με το βαθύ μπλέ του ουρανού και της θάλασσας... και τα καράβια στον Σαρωνικό να πηγαινοέρχονται...
και σύ να θέλεις να βρίσκεσαι μέσα σ' ένα απο αυτά .. να σε πάρει μαζί του μακριά.. να τα ξεχάσεις όλα.....
Κι ο Κώστας Χατζής.. στο τραγούδι του στο τέλος της ανάρτησης... αυτό κάνει...
..τα παρακαλεί να τον πάρουν μαζί τους...
Χαρείτε τον και νοσταλγήστε μαζί του....

The walk came to an end. Τελείωσε η βόλτα.

It was not a bad walk over the hills of southern Imittos. The day was dry and warm and the atmosphere clear to enjoy the views of the Saronic gulf.

Δεν πήγε άσχημα η βόλτα στον Υμηττό. Η μέρα ήταν ζεστή και στεγνή και η ατμόσφαιρα καθαρή για να χαρεί κανείς την θέα του Σαρωνικού.

Saronic Gulf. Ο Σαρωνικός.

It was really beautiful morning today. Bright sunshine and clear skies. So I took my camera and went up the slopes of Imittos mountain, south of Athens and took some photographs for you. You can see and enjoy the deep blue colors of the Saronic Gulf, the entrance of the port of Piraeus, the closer coast and the mountains of Peloponnese,  the beautiful islands of the Saronic and closer the southern suburbs of Athens. Enjoy. (all photographs were taken with my Nikon D60 camera and the Nikkor 70-300 mm 1:4-5.6 G lens).

Μια που είχαμε ένα πολύ όμορφο πρωινό σήμερα με λιακάδα και καλή ορατότητα, είπα να πάρω την μηχανή μου και να κάνω μια βόλτα στις νότιες πλαγιές του Υμηττού να τραβήξω μερικές φωτογραφίες. Μπορείτε να απολαύσετε το βαθύ γαλάζιο του Σαρωνικού, να δείτε την είσοδο του λιμανιού του Πειραιά, τις ακτές και τα βουνά της Πελοποννήσου, τα νησιά του Σαρωνικού και πιο κοντά, τα νότια προάστεια της Αθήνας. (Όλες οι φωτογραφίες τραβήχτηκαν με την Nikon D60 και φακό Nikkor 70-300 mm 1:4-5.6 G).
