Playful Seagulls. Παιγνιδιάρηδες Γλάροι.

The seagulls were especially playful last Sunday at Varkiza. they were doing their aerobatics as id they were those described in the book "Jonathan Livingston Seagull" which I read many years ago. I envy them sometimes as I envy all free flyers of the skies for their freedom of movement.

Οι γλάροι ήταν ιδιαίτερα παιγνιδιάρηδες την περασμένη Κυριακή στην Βάρκιζα. Έκαναν τ' ακροβατικά τους στον αέρα, όπως περιγράφονται στο βιβλίο "Ιωνάθαν ο Γλάρος" που διάβασα πριν από πολλά χρόνια.
Πολλές φορές τους ζηλεύω όπως ζηλέυω όλα τα πετούμενα τ' ουρανού για την ελευθερία που έχουνε.

When you are looking at the images of the seagulls bathed in the light of the setting sun, you can believe that there might still be some hope......

Όταν βλέπεις αυτές τις εικόνες των γλάρων που λούζονται στο φως του ήλιου που δύει, πιστεύεις πως μπορεί να υπάρχει ακόμη ελπίδα....

PS. I have been experiencing some problems with blogger the last few days. I was using the Mozilla Firefox browser. I managed to post this, with the Google Chrome browser. Please advise if you have been experiencing similar problems.

ΥΓ. Αντιμετώπισα μερικά προβλήματα τις τελευταίες μέρες με τον blogger.Χρησιμοποιούσα τον Mozilla Firefox για browser στο διαδίκτυο. Κατάφερα να κάνω αυτήν την ανάρτηση, χρησιμοποιώντας το Google Chrome. Παρακαλώ, πέστε μου αν αντιμετωπίσατε παρόμοια προβλήματα.
