A flower, Honeybees and Bumblebees. Ένα λουλούδι, Μέλισσες και Μπουμπούροι.

Ohhh those bumblebees....!!!!! Αχχ.. αυτοί οι μπούμπουρες ....!!!!

...they would do anything to get at the the sweet nectar at its source.....!!!!

....είναι ικανοί να κάνουν τα πάντα για να φτάσουν στο γλυκό νέκταρ  στην πηγή του...!!!!!! 

Hibiscus. Ιβίσκος

This Hibiscus plant, is buzzing with life all day long. It's flowers are closed at night, and they start opening with the first rays of the sun. And the bumblebees are waiting for the flowers to open and visit them.

Αυτός ο Ιβίσκος κάνει πολύ θόρυβο όλη μέρα. Τα λουλούδια του κλείνουν την νύχτα, αλλά ξανανοίγουν μόλις πέσουν πάνω τους οι πρώτες ακτίνες του ήλιου. Και οι μπάμπουρες τα περιμένουν ' ανοίξουν για να τα επισκεφτούν.

A wild flower and a bee. Ένα αγριολούλουδο κι ένας μπούμπουρας.

This is the flower from some kind of wild leek which is common in the fields of Crete. What is not common and i saw it for first time is the bee I found feasting on it. It was scary and long around 2 inches.
On one flower I counted five of the species. Can anyone please help identify it?

Αυτό είναι το λουλούδι από ένα είδος αγριόπρασου που βγαίνει στα χωράφια στην Κρήτη. Αυτό που είδα πρώτη φορά είναι αυτός ο μπούμπουρας. Δεν τον έχω ξαναδεί. Είναι μεγάλος. Σχεδόν πέντε πόντους. Τον αναγνωρίζει κανείς..?
