Moni (Monastery) Moundon(I). Chios. Μονή Μουνδών(I). Χίος.

An old monastery built around 16th century at the north western part of the island. It was destroyed during the earthquake of 1881 and only parts of the old walls are remaining and the church of St. John the Baptist. I took some photographs around the ruins, while I was waiting for someone to come and unlock the church to see and photograph the interesting, as you will see, inside.
Ένα παλιό μοναστήρι, που χρονολογείται στον 16ο αιώνα. Καταστράφηκε από τον σεισμό του 1881 και μόνο μέρος από τα παλιά κτίρια σώζεται, όπως και η εκκλησία του Αγίου Ιωάννου του Προδρόμου. Τράβηξα μερικές φωτογραφίες από τα ερείπια, όσο περίμενα κάποιον να έρθει να ξεκλειδώσει την εκκλησία για να δώ και να φωτογραφήσω το ενδιαφέρον, όπως θα δείτε, εσωτερικό της.
