Chios of Greece. An island with history, perfumes and hospitality(VI). Χίος. Ένα νησί με ιστορία, αρώματα και φιλοξενία(VI).

There is a beach at the south of the island of Chios. It is called "the black stones" or "black pebbles" (Μαύρα Βόλια-Mavra Volia in Greek), not without a reason. The  waters are cool and crystal clear but walking on the pebbles, after they have been exposed to the bright sun for a few hours, and if you are barefoot, its like trying to walk barefoot on a hot frying pan.
Μια παραλία στα νότια του νησιού λέγεται "Μαύρα Βόλια". Η θαλασσα είναι κρυστάλινη και τα νερά δροσερά. Αλλά όταν προσπαθήσης να βαδίσης ξυπόλυτος στα πυρωμένα από τον ήλιο βότσαλα, είναι σαν να προσπαθείς να βαδίσης σε καυτό τηγάνι.
