Schloss Nymphenburg Munich (1), Το παλάτι των Νυμφών. Μόναχο (1)

Schloss Nymphenburg or The Nymphs Palace is a cluster of beautiful buildings palaces and attachments over a vast area of gardens, parks, lakes and waterways near Munich. The place was built at various stages by kings, princes and other royalty of the period. It includes the botanical gardens and plenty of amusement and recreation parks. It is a place that one has to visit and explore in summer. Unfortunately we could not see much outside the buildings as the freezing temperatures prevailing, did not allowed us to stay outside for long. You will have an idea how it was outside by looking at the photographs which i display here. In the main building we visited the famous portrait and old paintings exposition, and we also visited the porcelain factory and the exposition and the natural history museum. I m hoping i will be able to visit and explore the whole place again in summertime.

Το παλάτι των νυμφών είναι ένα πανέμορφο σύμπλεγμα κτιρίων, κήπων, λιμνών και αλσυλίων κοντά στο Μόναχο. Κατασκευάστηκε σε διάφορα στάδια από τους ντόπιους βασιλιάδες και πρίγκηπες. Περιλαμβάνει τους βοτανικούς κήπους και τεράστιους χώρους περιπάτου και ψυχαγωγίας. Δυστυχώς μόνο το καλοκαίρι μπορεί κανείς να τα επισκευτεί όλα, γιατί η παγωνιά που επικρατούσε δεν επέτρεπε να παραμείνει κανείς για πολύ έξω. Μπορέσαμε μόνο να επισκεφτούμε την πινακοθήκη στο κεντρικό κτίριο, το εργοστάσιο και την έκθεση πορσελάνης και το μουσείο της φυσικής ιστορίας.
