As you have probably seen in my previous posts, there are many old little Byzantine Churches in the narrow streets, in the older part of the city of Athens, below Acropolis. This one, according to the plaque, is dating back to the 11th century A.D.
Υπάρχουν πάρα πολλές παλιές βυζαντινές εκκλησίες στα στενά δρομάκια της Πλάκας κάτω από την Ακρόπολη. Αυτή, σύμφωνα με την πλάκα, χρονολογείται από τον 11ο μΧ αιώνα.

I love the ancient architecture; you have it all happening over there and it makes for beautiful photographs from you Costas. You must have a field day when you get out amongst them....
I could sit all day and look at your photos of the old churches/buildings. Costas, you have a good eye for capturing the beauty around you.

Πολύ μου αρέσουν οι παλιές εκκλησίες,
όμως οφείλω να σου πώ πως τα γεγωνότα της Κύπρου δέν με αφήνουν να γράψω μεψυχραιμία.
Είμαι συγκλονισμένος.
Συγχώρα με .Γνωρίζω πως ο χώρος αυτός είναι ο πλέον ακατάλληλος για τέτοια,δεν μπορώ όμως να μην εκφράσω την αγανάκτησή μου για τη συμπεριφορά των....δήθεν εταίρων μας........
