Do you remember my earlier post about
"mastiha", the unique product of the island of Chios? The mastiha producers cooperative have made a chain of shops to promote the selling of their products, in the island, around Greece and worldwide. The
"Mastiha Shop" chain. They sell a variety of products ranging from drinks, sweets, cheeses, to cosmetics. One can even make his orders online. I took a few photographs for you, from the inside of the shop which is on the island.

Quite a variety of product, more than I expected.
This reminds me of going to college in Chicago, Costas. Are you wondering why? ;) Because there was a Greek bakery on my way to the train station that served up the yummiest treats in the world! I have never forgotten feeling so welcomed and loved every time I went in there... and they always knew my name. Vive la Grèce!
