The village of Pyrgi in the south of the island of Chios. A beautiful old village, with narrow streets and beautiful decorations on the outside of the buildings. It lies in the center of the area of the Mastiha producing villages. As you walk the streets, you will notice the tomatoes, hanging outside the houses to dry in the sun and make a delicacy used in salads and cooking.

Το Πυργί, είναι ένα από τα Μαστιχοχώρια της νοτίας Χίου. Στενοί δρόμοι και σπίτια με όμορφα εξωτερικά διακοσμητικά στοιχεία το χαρακτηρίζουν. Όπως βαδίζεις στα στενά, δεν μπορείς παρά να προσέξεις τις ντομάτες που είναι κρεμασμένες στον ήλιο για να γίνουν "λιαστές".
