I took these photographs approximately one hour ago from my back balcony, in the evening light. Its nature's beauty at its best. It is the one of the pair of hawks that are nesting on the roof. Just wish i could get that mast stripped off all the wires. (Camera Nicon D60, Lens 70-300mm 1:4.5-5.6 G, manual focus)

Gorgeous captures, Costas, in spite of all the modern technology that does tend to get in our way when we're trying to catch the very best of nature! So beautiful! And the last one is perfect! Have a wonderful evening!

Oh... and he flies!
Marvellous
It's visual poetry.
Dear friend~ not to worry about those wires, for you can still view the beauty of these wonderful hawks. What a great thing to have them still so near. You have a delightful and restful evening Costas. Chow
The hawk knew he is being photographed so he stayed for a while. Nice capture Costas.
Wow! A wizard with a camera has taken the last two photos!
Your reward for patiently waiting to capture the images - how the bird flies! Thanks.
Lucky you - pigeons are all I see on the antenna near my house ;-)
Have a nice weekend, Costas!

What a marvelous bird!
My favorite is the bottom flying one. So majestic!!!
There's that gorgeous blue sky again. It almost looks like the bird saw you photographing it and decided to fly away! Thanks for your visit.
