A pilgrimage on the White Mountains of Western Crete (Part IΙI of III). (Μέρος ΙIΙ από ΙΙΙ).

All good moments don't last for ever. It was time to start heading back to the village.

My 4X4 which took me up here was waiting for me where I had left it, because there was no more road for it. It had enough already.

But the place was so beautiful, I did not have the heart to leave just yet.

So I stayed a little longer and took a few more photographs.

Then I left, after promising to myself to come up here again sometime...

Costas, Crete is so truly beautiful! I can see why you chose to linger for more pictures. The rock forms almost look as though they've been placed there...maybe they were by the Gods?! The trees make such a lovely landscape but I wonder how they live and thrive in such rocky ground. Beautiful!

Breathtaking is the word! The honey made by the bees that live in those hives must be like nectar from the Gods.

The place looks so green and beautiful. I also like the rugged sceneries. Great captures Costas.

Off topic: I have an entry about the Greek traditional dances. I will be grateful if you can share some info about those I have mentioned in my post. Thanks in advance.
