Στο Σούνιο, γύρω από τον ναό του Ποσειδώνα, ζουν ελεύθερες αρκετές πέρδικες. Είχα την τύχη να συνατηθώ με μερικές πριν δυο μέρες που βρέθηκα ξανά εκεί και με χαρά είδα μερικά ζευγάρια να έχουν μεγαλώσει νεαρά πουλιά. Και αυτές, όπως και εμείς αντιμετωπίζουν προβλήματα με την ζέστη. Ευτυχώς, υπάρχουν άνθρωποι που ζουν ή εργάζονται στην περιοχή και φροντίζουν να έχουν νερό και τροφή..!

At Sounion, around the Temple of Poseidon there are some flocks of partridges living free in the area. I was lucky to come across some of them and I saw with pleasure that there are some pairs, raising young chicks. They are facing problems with this heat wave but there are some people living or working in the area who are supplying them with water and food.

A Sounion, attorno al Tempio di Poseidone, ci sono alcuni greggi di partridge che vivono liberamente nella zona. Sono stato fortunato ad incontrare alcuni di loro e ho visto con piacere che ci sono alcune coppie, alzando i giovani pulcini. Hanno fronte a problemi con questa onda di calore ma ci sono alcune persone che vivono o lavorano nella zona che li forniscono con acqua e cibo.

As you walk along the path on the hills of Imittos and you are enjoying the beauty of the nature, then you see in front of you, this beautiful pair, blending with the environment. It is the time of the year when you can see them in pairs, preparing their nests. And this time they allowed me to get closer to taked some decent photographs of them.

Περπατάςπάνω στον Υμηττό και χαζεύεις την ομορφιά της λολουδιασμένης φύσης και ξαφνικά βλέπεις μπροστά σου αυτό το πανέμορφο ζευγάρι να συμπληρώνει αυτήν την ομορφιά. Είναι η εποχή που έχουν ζευγαρώσει και ετοιμάζουν τις φωλιές των. Και αυτήν την φορά με άφισαν να τις πλησιάσω περισσότερο, λες και ήξεραν πως δεν είχα τον τηλεφακό πάνω στην μηχανή και δεν μπορούσα να τις φωτογραφίσω από μακριά.
