In the mountain range north of here, the Pyrenees, there are lots of abandoned villages. But sooner or later, they are occupied by some disgruntled city people, mostly young ones, looking for an alternative life style. They do a good job, in average.
Even if I understand that objects, house included, have a certain life cycle, it hurts my heart to see those houses! Why? Because they always remind me that we have a certain period of time here, on the Earth, too...
