A beautiful, daisie like flower which I saw for first time at Mt Pelion.
Gazania splendens.Its origins are from South Africa. At nights the flowers are closing. When the sun is high up in the skies again, the flowers unfold and are fully open and look like they are exploding.
Ένα όμορφο φυτό που μοιάζει με μαργαρίτα. Το είδα στο Πήλιο για πρώτη φορά. Η καταγωγή του είναι από την Αφρική. Την νύχτα τα άνθη μαζεύονται και κλείνουν. Όταν ο ήλιος ανεβεί ψηλά στον ουρανό το πρωί, τότε τα άνθη ανοίγουν και πάλι. Σαν μια έκρηξη χρωμάτων.
