Skies and waters on fire. A sunrise in Crete. Φωτιά στούς ουρανούς και τα νερά. Μια ανατολή στην Κρήτη.

I was having my first morning coffee, being ready to go to collect the olives, when I turned my head to the east and saw this, over the eastern horizon at Suda Bay in Crete.

Ενώ έπινα τον πρώτο μου πρωινό καφέ κι ετοιμαζόμουνα να ξεκινήσω για το μάζεμα της ελιάς, έριξα μια ματιά προς τ' ανατολικά, πάνω από τον κόλπο της Σούδας. Βλέπετε τί αντίκρυσα.
