Volissos, Chios.

Another beautiful village, with a medieval castle on top of the hill above it, is Volissos. It is the largest and more important village at the north western region of the island.

Another collection of splendid views, Costas. But I must say that my favorite is the fierce looking, eagle (is that it?) head fawcett. What a find, what interesting details.

Beatiful pictures and wonderful place! This castle looks very interesting. Its origin is Byzantine, Genoese or Ottoman?
