Costas- Greece was heavily forested at one time, was it not? But then the people chopped down the trees, and they never came back. Perfect grazing land for the lamb and the goat- I know I read this somewhere-

There are so many. Does anyone act like a shepherd or are they on their own?
Is it a hard life for the caretakers? It looks very pleasant in a photo.
Looks like these livestock have a hard time finding water or food, but they seem to survive.
