Syntagma Suare. Athens. Πλατεία Συντάγματος. Αθήνα.

This is Syntagma(Constitution) square at the center of Athens. The panoramic photograph above, was stitched from the photographs below.
Η πλατεία Συντάγματος. Η πανοραμική φωτογραφία πιο πάνω, φτιάχτηκε από τις φωτογραφίες που ακολουθούν.
The House of Parliament at the north side of the square. The presidential guards are a constant tourist attraction.
 Η Βουλή των Ελλήνων. Διακοσμητικό στοιχείο τώρα της Πλατείας.

As a 21 year old I eagerly walked the mile from our hotel to Syntagma Square because there was a restaurant that sold American-style hamburgers. How silly is youth. Now I would walk twice that for a good souvlaki stand.

I like the square beacuse it is so in big-city-style but there are a liitle bit too many pigeons as for me:)
