Beverly Hills, CA.(I) Μπέβερλυ Χίλς, Καλιφόρνια.(I)

While I was there, I could not resist the temptation to walk those beautiful streets with my camera at hand. Beverly Hills is an area with beautiful houses, beautiful kept gardens and lawns. Everyone is competing with his neighbor, making the city one of the most beautiful I have seen. The standards of living here, and the costs, are above everything I have seen so far. People living here, are of high income, and any economy crisis, in the U.S.A or elsewhere, does not affect them.
PS. The occasional cars you might see parked on the streets are those of the gardeners or house helps or of those who work.

At least they want you to THINK they aren't affected by economic downturns...

I had no idea that you were in my part of the world (not Beverly Hills of course). We've had much rain and it looks like you missed most of it.

Another great series, Costas. Beverly Hills certainly doesn't represent a very large portion of the US -- at least not any more, although I'm not sure that it ever did. Still, it is a beautiful area!

I am so glad to see you back, Costas. I've missed your posts! I finally managed to look back at your trip photos that you've posted so far and have to say my absolutely favorite picture is the squirrel and the eagle.

I'm looking forward to seeing so much more of your trip! It sounds like you were busy and happy.

I guess all those pretty facades hide reality behind the doors. They are people just like the rest of us, but the probably don't think so. :)
