I have a dream.

I have a dream. I dream of a better free world. I dream of a world in peace. I dream of a world where human greed does not exist. Where there is no hunger. Where children are not dying because of lack of food or medicines. Where people are not killed in wars. Where there is justice. Where people are all equal as they are the moment they are born. Where nature is not violated and exploited for the profit of the few.
I have a dream where i am free to go where i like.
I have a dream where i can choose the people i want to be with. Where people are having the same dreams I have.
Then I wake up. And i face the reality. I face the cruel reality. I face the hate I face what the world is like.
A few hours ago, during demonstrations in Athens , rioters set a bank on fire. Three bank employees died during the fire. One of the two dead women was pregnant. She went to work in the morning and she did not come back home. Just like the other two. Who needed to go to work.

It was just a dream.

I saw some of this on the news. I thought of YOU. I am praying for your country, and mine as well.

Costas

My heart is heavy for you and your countrymen --- I fear it has only just begun. Violence is never the answer for it divides the people and harms the innocent. The enemy is silent hidden-- this behavior will probably spread to other countries as the world is interconnected and the banking system will fall like a house of cards. It is important to keep a 'calm mind' centered in truth during this turbulence in order to plan and make the right decisions - "for this too shall pass"

Oh, Costas! My heart aches for you and your country and for the families that lost love ones in such a terrible way! My heart, too, is heavy for you and your countrymen. But as Joan wrote, I fear it has only begun. When will people learn that violence is never the answer??
Hopefully some kind of sanity will prevail before it gets any worse.

Costas, I thought of you first thing this morning when I watched this very sad news. My prayers go out to you, your family, your countrymen. These kinds of things only make things so much more difficult. We are so thankful that you are connected to us by this means, we can keep you and yours lifted up and hope that things will straighten out very soon~ Blessings Costas~ Be safe~

So tragic, and as in other similar cases around the world, so take over this mass hysteria - and the most important message disappears :(
Greece have great problems economi as a EU country - but be sure, help is near... If not, so is the Euro death!!!

I'm feeling very sad about what is happening in Athens, Costas. It's a tragedy that affects us all, truly it does.

I fear that these riots are just the beginning, that they will spread to other countries. Greed is not confined to Greece. And I do think it's the greed of the rich that is causing many problems worldwide.
