It is one of the best and purest sandy beaches in Greece. On the westernmost coast of Crete. Near the ancient city of Falasarna. We had to visit it once again, although I still have my objections about the greenhouses growing vegetables among the olive trees.
Η παραλία στα Φαλάσαρνα στην δυτική ακτή της Κρήτης, κοντά στην αρχαία πόλη Φαλάσαρνα. Από τις καθαρότερες και πιο όμορφες αμμουδιές στην Ελλάδα. Έπρεπε να την επισκεφτούμε ξανά, παρ' όλες τις αντιρρήσεις μου σχετικά με τα θερμοκήπια που φυτρώνουν ανάμεσα στους ελαιώνες.

I am curious as to how they water the plants in those greenhouses. Isn't Greece hot, and dry? And what are the vegetables they are growing?

Μη νομίζεις! Πρώτα πήγα κι έψαξα και μετά γύρισα γιά σχολιασμό. Τίποτα! Δεν υπάρχει τίποτα στα μετρα μας προς πώληση κάπου γύρω σ'αυτή την πανέμορφη παραλία. Κρίμα. Φιλιά!
Gorgeous place, beautiful skies, wonderful beach and there is no bluer or more beautiful water than there is in Greece and particularly around Crete! It still amazes me although it has been many years since I was there. Superb captures as always, Costas! Have a wonderful weekend!

Foarte frumoasa seria; nu am fost in Creta, dar atat cat am vazut din Grecia mi-a placut foarte mult! Multumim!
Κωστη οι φωτο απο τα Φαλασαρνα ειναι τελειες.Βρεθηκα το καλοκαιρι εκει για τρεις μερες αλλα ειχα την ατυχια να εχει τεραστια κυματα.Αλλα και ετσι ειχε μια απιστευτη γοητεια αυτη η γωνια.Τωρα απο την δικη σου τεχνη βλεπω την θαυμασια αυτη παραλια γαληνια και αδεια.Οσο για τα θερμοκηπια τι να πω.Δεν τα εγκρινω καθολου.Καταστρεφουν ολο το υπεροχο σκηνικο και ειναι εντελως ακαταλληλα για το τοπιο.
