The streets around the old port of Chania.

The streets around the old Venetian port of Chania are full of people, flowers and life. You can see the old and the modern mixed together as the locals mix with tourists. Some balconies are so colorful with the flowers hanging from them, and there are some trees with their colorful branches like arms extended to the skies.

  3. What a beautiful place! And such gorgeous flowers and colors!! Love your blue sky! Your photos are superb as always, Costas! With the troubles your country is experiencing, it is easy to understand the concern, the frustration you must feel. Holding good thoughts.

  5. Beautiful Costas. The motorcycles parked along the street remind me of the ones in Paris....everywhere!
I recognize those trees I think....hibiscus? You are the expert so you correct me! I think Chania is a beautiful and magical place for the lucky tourists.... and residents of course.

  9. Lovely place! I like the walls of Bougainvilea. It's a pity it does not resist (during the winter) in our climate.
