Every time I am in the area, I like to visit the "Warm Valley" (Valea Calda). I had not been there since my previous visit last July and wanted to see it again. This time it was impossible. I tried to enter the valley from the eastern and the western entrances, but it was impossible. The recent heavy rains had washed out entirely the road or what it was remaining of it at some points and it made it impossible even for a 4X4 to pass. But again I had some great time trekking and admiring the beautiful nature.
It looks like some of the conifers have been decorated by nature for Christmas.
Sometimes you see a beautiful rock formation and when you go to have a closer look, there is a surprise for you.

It is all so beautiful... if I didn't know better, I would have guessed these were all scenes from my part of the world-- especially the recently flooded-out area.
