These are the ruins of an old Church, a few steps away from Glyfada s beach. It is said that it was here where Paul the Apostle landed and then went to Athens to preach a sermon, near the rock of Acropolis to the Athenians and talk to them about the "Unknown God".
Ερείπια παλιάς Εκκλησίας στη παραλία της Γλυφάδας. Λέγεται πως εδώ αποβιβάστηκε από το πλοίο που τον μετέφερε, ο Απόστολος Παύλος, για να πάει μετά στην Αθήνα και να κυρήξει στον Άρειο Πάγο για τον Άγνωστο Θεό στους Αθηναίους.

Very interesting. Last weekend I took my son to the grotto where Paul the apostle is said to have lived while here in Malta. Unfortunately, my camera was not with me.
