Under a blanket of snow.

Night is falling. And snow keeps falling over the village of Aghios Lavrentios at Mt Pelion in Greece. Everything is covered under a heavy blanket of snow. It may be beautiful and romantic. But the reality is different. Life and peoples' hopes have been put to freeze. A tombstone has been placed over the lives and hopes of people here, after last nights vote at the parliament. The tombstone has been carved by the strong and mighty of the European Union and placed upon us by that vote.

  7. The photos are great, Costas!
I understand what you said very well: my country was one of their guinea-pigs. They tested already on us these measures.

  8. It is beautiful, Costas, but I do understand what you have said. I tried to comment earlier, but Blogger was not cooperative. My thoughts have been with you and I do know how difficult things are for you and your country.
