Trying to walk in the snow.

It was not easy. The stone paved narrow streets of the village were covered up to a meter deep in snow. It was fresh and when you stepped on it, sometimes you were sinking almost to the waist. When you did not slip of course.

  1. Guess I didn't realize that it snowed like that over there! Last year we had 12 feet of snow, this year it barely covers the ground. Feast or Famine as they say!!

  5. Gosh! I remember Athens, winter 91/92, trying to reach Piraeus through 60 cm of snow... Quite an adventure.
