A couple of weeks ago, I was walking around Acropolis of Athens. It was late in the day, just a little before the sunset. There were many people around. Because the national opera theater of Greece would be performing Giuseppe Verdi's "Nabucco" , later at the ancient theater of Herod under Acropolis.

Έχουμε σκεφτεί ποτέ πόσο τυχεροί είμαστε, που τέτοια μοναδικά μνημεία έχουμε;
Another of my favorite memories of Greece! There is simply nothing quite like the Acropolis! The evening program that they had there back when I was there was so moving, exciting, breathtaking! And so are your captures for the day, Costas! Thank you for the memories!

ReplyDeleteEven though it is probably one of the most touristic places on Earth, it still is a magic place to me.
