Capers. Capers.

We all have used it in cooking or in salads. The plant is a bush, able to survive in the harsh environment of the Greek islands. Its flower is beautiful and so unusual.
I found this plant on the hills near where I live. And it had some visitors and there was some activity on its leaves.

  4. I use capers in food, with meat, but I have never seen their delicate flowers. Wonderful! How do you name the bugs in Greece? We call them "God's cow", in Romania.

  17. Excellent photos. I was just in Greece last week and loved it. I saw many plants and vegetation that resemble those in Maine, which is quite interesting because of the different climate.
