The House of Parliament at the north side of the square. The presidential guards are a constant tourist attraction.

As a 21 year old I eagerly walked the mile from our hotel to Syntagma Square because there was a restaurant that sold American-style hamburgers. How silly is youth. Now I would walk twice that for a good souvlaki stand.
