Residents of the lake. Κάτοικοι της λίμνης.

There are so many birds living in the lake of Kastoria. I managed to catch a few as the light was fading..
Ζούνε πάρα πολλά πουλιά στην λ΄ξμνη της Καστοριάς. Κατάφερα να φωτογραφίσω μερικά την ώρα που χανόταν το φως της μέρας.

  4. Very nice shots, the one swan is banded. I have never seen that, perhaps to tell of one in captivity.

  5. Great photos, Costas!

The last months I have seen lots of those birds flying south, mostly geese. Suchs sights, when the sky is full of performents ;-)
But lots stay in Denmark, and not at least here on Lolland, the most south place!

  6. It looks so peaceful. I love all the different varieties of birds, all swimming together.

  7. What a beautiful lake, and with so many lovely birds! Looks like you have the same birds as I have in "my" lake in Oslo: swan, goose, coot. They are very friendly in "my" lake, I guess it is beacause people feed them all of the year. Are they also friendly at this lake?
