Events, Happenings.

The guest at Kinsterna Hotel is never bored. There is always something happening, some activity or event taking place for the guest. And one can always enjoy a walk on the surrounding beautiful hills, on paths which have been mapped, and enjoy the beautiful countryside. After the olive oil was extracted, we had to taste it. So bread was made at the wood oven and a BBQ party was started at the the spit next to the oven, and drinks were needed as well, so the distillery was used to extract some (rather strong) "tsipouro", a traditional home made juice from grapes, and everyone had a great time.
Herbs and spices from local plants, used to give tsipouro its unique taste.

  9. Now this looks fun. Wondered what the spices were, looked like coriander, pepper corns and perhaps juniper berries.I must be like a brandy. The breads look real good, I buy from a bakery that cooks like this whenever I am near.

  16. Costas, your images are splendid. I can nearly smell that fresh baked bread. Love crusty bread anyway, and especially when it has anything to do with olive oil, makes such a difference. Sounds like a delightful BBQ~
