Autumn colors on the hills near Monemvasia(II). Φθινοπωρινά χρώματα στους λόφους κοντά στην Μονεμβασιά.(II)

A wild pear tree. (Pyrus Spinosa). They grow up almost everywhere by itself. And this period they are full with fruit.
Αγριοαχλαδιά η γκορτσιά. (Pyrus Spinosa). Φυτρώνουν αυτά τα δένδρα παντού στην περιοχή και αυτήν την εποχή είναι φορτωμένα με καρπούς.

  2. Thank you Patrick. The little purple flowers are cyclamens and they are growing everywhere at this time of year.

  3. Beautiful Costas. In Switzerland, your purple flowers are popping up at the grocery store in little pots. People buy them to enjoy for a few weeks, and then they die and we have to throw them out. I've never seen any in the wild, so this was a treat.

  5. Lovely series and your autumn colours look so different from our own because of the difference in tree species, so it is fun to view your own. The little flowers are lovely as well~

  6. What a gorgeous series, Costas! Beautiful waterfalls and the little purple flowers are exquisite! It's interesting to see the different seasons in different countries, the difference is often subtle, sometimes not subtle at all. Hope your week is going well. Have a lovely evening!

  7. Very nice selection of pics. Here in the US we had Johnny Apple Seed sow apples all over. Your version may be Johnny Pear Seed.
