Walking the path to history.

I started my walk from the new town to the colorful rock and the castle, along the narrow road. I had the north to my left, from where there was a strong wind blowing, and, sometimes, the waves were spraying me, before I had the chance to have the rock covering my left.
Looking back to where I came from.

On the right things were calmer. And the rocks were forming a natural swimming pool.
And there were two cormorants trying to balance themselves on the rock, against the wind.
On the left, more colorful and more precipitous rock.
...and a cave.
... but there were also some cacti, bearing colorful fruit..
... and  beautiful wild flowers.

  3. Amazing scenery Costas, those rock colourings are very impressive! The cacti growing in the wild look so strange to the English eye, we only ever see them here in pots in the home or the greenhouse.

I have been looking back at posts I missed and found your eagle post fascinating and also the partridges. The post which really captivated me though was the one of the hawks on your balcony, such lovely photos of a beautiful bird!
