It was really beautiful morning today. Bright sunshine and clear skies. So I took my camera and went up the slopes of Imittos mountain, south of Athens and took some photographs for you. You can see and enjoy the deep blue colors of the Saronic Gulf, the entrance of the port of Piraeus, the closer coast and the mountains of Peloponnese, the beautiful islands of the Saronic and closer the southern suburbs of Athens. Enjoy. (all photographs were taken with my Nikon D60 camera and the Nikkor 70-300 mm 1:4-5.6 G lens).
SIMPLY MARVELOUS..LOVE IT, SWEETHEART

Crete and the countryside, is a dream -- paradise really. Your photography depicts the mountains, shorelines, the harbours, the villages and so much more. You tease our senses and we are left with nothing left but to come to Crete and experience it ... and explore the origins, history and meet the artists of this soulful music you have playing on your blog.
ReplyDeleteThis may be the closest I will got to this ancient City by the sea -- so thank you for the beautiful display of photo's.

I must, once again, to thank you all my friends for your support and nice comments on my posts. What i am trying to do here, with my photographs, is to show you some of the simple beauty of my land, the sky, the air, the sun and the sea. As things are going on from bad to worse.. all around the world, those simple gifts of nature are the only things left to us here.
ReplyDeleteThank you again and wish a great day to all of you.
Costas
It's so interesting to hear you mention and show the places we had to read about it school. It makes the places personal and real. I was about to come and visit your blog when I got sidetracked, so thanks for visiting my animals :)
